Metrobank Tokyo would like to announce that during 2026 Golden Week Japan Holidays your remittances to the Philippines shall be processed and sent to your beneficiaries using Easy Postal Remit Card (EPRC) and Metrobank Easy Transfer Service (METS-SMBC/MUFG/Resona) subject to SCHEDULE below: (Please note that there are some restrictions on money transfers during this period. For further information, please refer the important notes below.)

The schedule above is based on information provided by the domestic banks used for each service (SMBC, MUFG, Resona, and Japan Post Bank).
*EPRC processing will be affected by the Japan Post Bank Website Enhancement (please visit the Japan Post Bank website for details).
Please note that Metrobank Japan Branch can only process remittances after we receive the funds from the domestic banks. If the domestic bank changes its service schedule, the remittance schedule above may also change
Important Notes:
- Please check the available hours and services of the ATM, internet banking, or other services you use to send your remittance.
- Your remittance will not be processed and will be placed on hold if any of the following applies:
a. The remittance amount is over ¥300,000 (purpose confirmation is required)
b. Your ID has expired or your latest customer information has not been submitted
c. Your Japan address is unknown, or mail/notices have been returned
d. There is a violation of the service terms and conditions
e. Your total remittance within 30 consecutive days is ¥1,000,000 or more(additional documents are required)
Remittances that are placed on hold will be processed starting from the first business day after the holiday period.
We will process the transfer only after you submit the required documents and meet the bank's requirements, such as:
- Valid ID
- Latest customer information
- Confirmation of remittance purpose
