Re: Partial lifting of the State of Emergency from June 21,2021
MBJ’s correspondence under the latest declaration on the lifting of a state of emergency in Japan.
Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga announced the lifting of the state of emergency from June 21,2021 in 9 prefectures, namely Tokyo, Osaka, Hokkaido, Aichi, Hyogo, Kyoto, Fukuoka, Okayama and Hiroshima; however Okinawa shall remain under the state of emergency until July 11, 2021.
Seven prefectures namely Tokyo, Osaka, Hokkaido, Aichi, Hyogo, Kyoto and Fukuoka will transition to focused restrictions under quasi-emergency measures from June 21, 2021 to July 11,2021.
