IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT – Inactive Remittance Customer Records

We would like to announce Metrobank Japan’s Policy on Inactive Remittance Customer Records as follows:
Please be informed that Remittance Customer Records shall be tagged as “inactive” if there are no remittance transactions for more than five consecutive years. This shall cover Remittance Customers with no remittance transactions from September 1, 2013.
Inactive Remittance Customer Records shall be considered cancelled or terminated and will be deleted from our system. A customer with a cancelled or terminated Remittance Customer Record who wishes to apply for a remittance transaction shall be required to register under the existing policies of Metrobank Japan Branches.
Please be advised that the purging of Inactive Remittance Customer Records will be done on September 12, 2018.
